The number of injured people in Sumy has increased after Russian military forces struck a funeral procession on the outskirts of the city. A man was killed and 15 more people were injured in the attack. Later, it became known that four more people were injured in the city, including a minor girl. This was reported by the Sumy City Military Administration.
According to the MVA, 15 injured people were taken to medical facilities as a result of the enemy strike on the funeral procession. All victims were provided with the necessary assistance in the hospital, but one of the men could not be saved, he died from his serious injuries.
Another victim is in the intensive care unit in serious condition. Two people remain in hospital, and 11 more victims were transferred to outpatient treatment after receiving assistance.
Later, the Sumy City Military Administration reported another enemy strike on the outskirts of the city. As a result of the FPV drone attack, a 16-year-old girl was injured, who was at a public transport stop at the time of the strike. The minor was hospitalized.
Medics and emergency services continue to work in the city, and the victims are being provided with the necessary assistance.
