The Pension Fund of Ukraine warns citizens about fraudsters who spread false information about indexation of pensions, allegedly planned for January 15. About this informs press service of the Pension Fund.
“Recently, in Telegram channels with a dubious reputation, unknown persons spread information about indexation of pensions, which will allegedly be carried out in the near future. In order to receive it in time, pensioners are urged to fill out a certain questionnaire. Please note – this is manipulation.” – the message says.
Such messages are designed to entice people to click on a link where they can be redirected to phishing sites or closed channels for further manipulation.
The Pension Fund urges citizens to ignore such links and not to fill out any questionnaires. At the same time, it is reminded that indexation of pensions is carried out automatically, without the need for additional requests, in accordance with Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine “On Mandatory State Pension Insurance”.
The Pension Fund clarified that the decision on pension indexation in 2025 will be adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in a separate resolution. Official information on this matter will be made public through verified channels of the Pension Fund.
