The president of the Czech Republic had an accident while riding a motorcycle
Czech leader Petr Pavel got into an accident while riding a motorcycle. As a result of the accident, he was taken to the hospital, where he will spend several days.

“The president was injured while riding a motorcycle. The injuries are not serious, but require a short observation at the Central Military Hospital in Prague”, the message says.
Local media, citing the spokeswoman of the Prague hospital, Yitka Zinke, reported that Pavel was examined, but she did not specify the duration of hospitalization. At the same time, the press secretary of the president, Vit Kolarj, told Czech TV that Pavel will probably stay in the hospital for a few days.
The police are not investigating the accident, as it happened on a closed sports track.
According to Czech media, 62-year-old Petr Pavel is very fond of riding motorcycles. He did not abandon his hobby even when he won last year’s election. Also last year, the Czech police caught the president while driving without a helmet.
