On the night of Saturday, December 6, Russia carried out one of the largest combined attacks in recent weeks: since Friday evening, air alert signals have been activated across the country, strategic aviation has been raised over the territory of Ukraine, cruise and ballistic missiles, Caliber missiles, aviation “Daggers” have been launched, and dozens of strike drones have been used.
The Kyiv region has been hit by powerful missiles and drones, and peaceful settlements have come under fire. According to information from the head of the region, Mykola Kalashnyk, three people were injured:

a woman born in 1979 — shrapnel wounds to the arm and chest, neck injury; hospitalized;

a woman, 40 years old — laceration of the cheek, received assistance on the spot;

a man born in 1983 — laceration of the lower leg, does not require hospitalization.
In Fastiv, the railway infrastructure was damaged as a result of an enemy strike. Ukrzaliznytsia changed the routes of a number of trains and warned of possible delays. The city was on a long alert – passengers were asked to stay in shelters.
During the alert, explosions using ballistic missiles were heard in the Dnipro, and a thick black cloud of smoke rose over one of the districts. Residents reported power outages. The head of the OVA Vladyslav Gaivanenko urged people not to neglect shelters.
A Russian drone crashed in Chernihiv. The city council appealed to residents not to approach the crash site until the special services had finished their work.
The Lviv region was under air alert signals several times. Closer to six in the morning, attack drones entered the airspace of the region – the threat simultaneously hung over several settlements (among those named – Novy Yarychiv, Kamyanka-Buzka, Dobrotvir, Stryi). Air defense units were working on targets. Explosions were heard in a number of communities, indicating the shooting down of enemy aircraft.
As of 06:44, the air force again declared a large-scale air alert almost throughout the country – cruise missiles were recorded in the sky, as officially warned by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
