On the night of February 28, the Russian army attacked the Kharkiv region, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Mykolaiv with drones. As a result of the attacks there is destruction and injuries. In the Kharkiv region, the Russian army inflicted a massive attack on the power system. About this informs Oleg Sinegubov, head of Kharkiv OVA.
“The enemy inflicted a massive attack on the power system of the Kharkiv region. The air defense forces of Ukraine are working in an intensified mode on protection. All specialized services are involved in the liquidation of the consequences.” – the message says.
A 42-year-old civilian man was injured as a result of the strike on Balaklia. He was hospitalized in a medical institution.
The police of the Kharkiv region reported shelling of the suburbs of Kharkiv. Russian attacks have hit the residential sector, with drone strikes damaging at least three private homes. It is previously known that two victims sought medical help.
The shelling of the Solonytsivka community was recorded, as a result of which two local residents were injured – a 75-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman. Both were hospitalized for the necessary medical care.
At the same time, the Russian military attacked Zaporozhye. An 82-year-old woman was injured as a result of the drone attack. The blast wave damaged residential apartments, private houses and garages. There was also a fire in apartments on the upper floors of a high-rise building, a garage and an open area, reported the head of OVA Ivan Fedorov.
The same evening, the city of Sumy came under fire. As noted head of the Sumy MBA, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, recorded five hits in one of the city’s districts. The OVA clarified that two people were injured, and 40 residents were evacuated from damaged buildings to safe places.
At night, Russian drones also attacked Mykolaiv. According to the head of OVA Vitaliy Kim, the debris of the drone damaged the warehouse and caused the car to catch fire. There is no preliminary information about the victims.
