The Russian Federation attacked Lviv with missiles and drones: 3 people died, 23 were injured
On the morning of September 4, Lviv experienced a massive attack by Shahed missiles and drones. The main blow fell on the Railway district, where residential buildings were damaged. By in words the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, the number of victims at this moment is 23 people, three people died.
Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy reportedthat there are children among the victims.
“Two children, aged 10 and 15, as well as 15 adults were hospitalized in Lviv hospitals. Five patients are currently in serious condition.”– said the mayor in his address.
Due to the destruction and danger, classes at “Arnika” and #17 schools were canceled, as rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack in these areas.
The consequences of the attack affected not only residential buildings. Windows were massively broken in the houses on Konovaltsia, Brativ Mikhnovskyi and Melnyk streets. Rescue services are working on the spot, clearing the debris and providing assistance to the victims. The number of victims continues to grow, and the general situation in the city remains tense.
Among the dead is a 50-year-old nurse-midwife of the 5th Polyclinic of Lviv.
“The deceased devoted her life to helping people. We are still gathering information about the deceased husband. Our sincere condolences to family and friends.”, – wrote Andriy Sadovy in his Telegram.
In addition, it became known that a 14-year-old girl died as a result of the attack in Lviv.
