The Russian Federation massively attacked Odesa with “Shaheds”: the hospital was damaged, there are casualties
On the night of April 14, Russia launched an attack on Odessa with the help of “Shaheed” kamikaze drones. As a result of the attack, the hospital was damaged, there are wounded. About this informs the mayor of the city Gennadiy Trukhanov.
“As a result of an attack by drones in one of the medical institutions of Odessa, the ceiling and glazing were damaged, the operating room was mutilated. The patients were not injured”, said the mayor’s message.
In addition to the hospital, residential buildings, civil infrastructure facilities, a main road, a service station and cars were damaged. Emergency services and the city’s operational headquarters worked at the scene. After receiving permission, utility workers began to eliminate the consequences of the impact and restore the road surface.
Oleh Kiper, the head of Odesa OVA clarified, which is currently known about five injured people. The victims had shrapnel wounds and burns. Doctors provide them with the necessary assistance.
Witnesses report that cars that were in motion at the time of the attack caught fire. The incident happened on Mykolaivska road. After the impact of the drone, a gap was formed, and the car crashed into an electric pole at high speed. There are also reports of damage to civil infrastructure facilities, in particular residential buildings.
