The Russians shelled the Vovchansk community: six were wounded, among them the head of the MBA

On May 16, Russian troops shelled the village of Vovchansk community of Kharkiv region with cluster munitions. As a result of the attack, six people were injured, including the head of the Vovchan city military administration, two medics and two ambulance drivers.

About this reported Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Synegubov reported that the number of victims as a result of shelling of the village of Bugayivka increased to six. The injured are men between the ages of 28 and 50. The 28-year-old intern at the Bugaiv hospital is in serious condition. A 43-year-old anesthesiologist, two drivers aged 39 and 50, a 48-year-old local resident and the head of Vovchanska MBA are in average condition. All the men have explosive wounds of varying degrees, they were stabbed.

National Police clarified that around 15:00 the Russian military had previously fired from a rocket salvo system. The hit happened in an open area.

Law enforcement officers have opened criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war.
