The SBU and the National Police stopped 4 schemes to evade mobilization: the organizers were detained, including a deputy

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police continue the fight against evasion of mobilization and illegal departure of men of conscription age abroad.

“For money, the perpetrators offered the evaders to flee to the European Union, using forged documents or bypassing checkpoints. The cost of such “services” was up to 12 thousand US dollars.

According to the SBU, it was possible to block 4 schemes of such devices and to detain the organizers in different regions of Ukraine.

Among those detained:

• The head of the district military medical commission in the Odesa region, who sold fictitious documents about his unfitness for service due to his health.
• A mobilized deputy of the village council in Ternopil Oblast, who organized a channel of illegal migration to the European Union.
• A criminal group in Prykarpattia, which transported evaders to the neighboring country by swimming across the Tisza River or along forest paths.
• The founder of a charity fund in the Cherkasy region, who traded “positions” in the ranks of the organization to travel outside Ukraine under the guise of volunteers.
  

According to the SBU, the detainees offered the evasioners various ways to avoid mobilization:

• Forged documents: justification letters for the unhindered import of humanitarian goods, fictitious documents about unfitness for service due to health.
• crossing the border: swimming across the Tisza river, along forest paths bypassing checkpoints. “Exit” under the guise of volunteers: buying “positions” from the ranks of charitable organizations.
