The Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine has launched a large-scale staffing campaign, opening competitions for 261 vacant positions. The agency is looking for specialists of various profiles: detectives, analysts, lawyers, cybersecurity experts, as well as specialists in internal control, personnel management, and communications.
A feature of the current personnel strategy is the involvement of students and graduates of leading higher education institutions. A special six-month internship program in civil service positions has been introduced for young specialists. This initiative should become a professional platform for training future operational employees of the agency.
«We have introduced the possibility of a 6-month internship in civil service positions with the prospect of continuing a career as a detective. This is practical experience and a real start to a professional path,” said Oleksandr Tsyvinsky, Director of the Bureau of Economic Security.
Representatives of the bureau have already held a series of presentations of career opportunities for students of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, the Ivan Franko Lviv National University, the Ukrainian Catholic University, and the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. The purpose of such events is to find motivated personnel capable of strengthening the law enforcement component of the agency.
The process of personnel renewal is taking place against the backdrop of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine reviewing the maximum number of the central apparatus and territorial departments of the agency. Strengthening the personnel potential is considered a necessary step for the effective fight against economic crimes and the protection of the financial interests of the state.
Currently, the Bureau of Economic Security continues the active phase of competitive selections. Successful completion of the internship and passing the competitions will allow new employees to join the investigation of complex schemes in the field of public finances.
