The SBU exposed a large-scale network of mobilization evasion: dozens of officials and intermediaries were detained
The Security Service of Ukraine dealt a devastating blow to a large-scale network involved in the organization of evasion of mobilization and illegal departure abroad of men of military age. As a result of a special operation conducted simultaneously in five regions of the country, more than a dozen organizers and participants of the criminal scheme were detained, including officials of military committees, military medical commissions, and medical institutions.

Criminals offered a wide range of “services” for evaders, including the issuance of fake medical certificates of unfitness for military service, registration of drug addicts, registration of fictitious paternity and other schemes. The cost of such “services” reached 12 thousand US dollars.
The most audacious case was recorded in Kryvyi Rih, where the head of the district military committee organized a whole assembly line for the production of forged documents. He involved his subordinates, medical workers and intermediaries to implement the scheme. During the searches, unregistered weapons and more than 3.5 million hryvnias in cash were seized from the suspects.
In Cherkasy, the head of the division of the municipal utility company of the city council organized a scheme for the sale of places in the register of drug addicts of the regional drug dispensary, involving medical workers.
In Poltava region, the leadership of the district military medical commission was exposed, which “stamped” fictitious diagnoses for evaders, without even conducting medical examinations.
In Odesa, businessmen were arrested, who issued conscripts with false paternity over minor children in order to travel abroad.
In Khmelnytskyi, two criminals who were selling forged medical certificates on disability of the II group were arrested red-handed.
The investigation is ongoing, the perpetrators face severe punishment for the crimes committed.
