The situation in the north of the Sumy region continues to be complicated due to the constant pressure of the Russian army and the large number of its infantry. The Russians continue to advance thanks to massive assaults. About this informs DeepState.
Ukrainian soldiers note that after defeating the enemy’s concentrations, they “manage to rush very quickly in a pack and barely manage to destroy this horde.” The situation regarding settlements that could potentially have already been captured – Kindrativka, Vodolagi, Oleksiivka – is being clarified in advance. The presence of Russian infantry is recorded in Kindrativka. They are trying to destroy it, but the numerical superiority of the enemy makes it difficult to hold the village.
In Oleksiivka, the enemy was stopped on the northern outskirts, but he continues to use the tactics of constant attacks, due to which fierce battles continue. The weather conditions became favorable for the work of Ukrainian artillery and drones. The enemy is trying to approach Yablunivka and break through to Yunakivka. It is difficult to do this – the part of the village where they enter is destroyed, and there is no way to gain a foothold.
“The enemy has placed a bet on advancing towards the settlement of Khotyn, where a large number of infantry have been drawn up and there are significantly fewer obstacles on the way to get to the village. The threat in the enemy’s advance is his exit to a distance of 20-25 kilometers, which will make it possible to fly FPV drones to the city of Sumy. In addition, the north of Sumy Oblast is dotted with heights, which provides a favorable environment for these flights.
Today, there is no “optical fiber” counterbalance as such, as well as advantages in the number of drones and crews to destroy enemy drones. Therefore, the situation is not in the best way, although the fighters of the Defense Forces are making maximum efforts to restrain the onslaught of the enemy.” – says the message of DeepState.
