During the inspection of land plots leased, the team of the “State Land Bank” discovered facts of arbitrary use of territories by outsiders in several regions.
“We inspected more than 260 plots with a total area of more than 19,000 hectares in eight regions. All violations were recorded with the participation of law enforcement officers, and criminal proceedings have already been opened for most of the facts.
With the “Land Bank” project, we are changing the approach to the use of state agricultural land, eradicating shadow schemes. The land must be used according to legal documents and work for the state, not in the interests of a certain circle of people.”, – said the general director of the bank, Yaroslav Yaroslavskyi.
To date, the facts of arbitrary and illegal use of state lands in the Kharkiv region have been documented – five plots with a total area of 484 hectares. In the Kherson region, two sites were discovered, the area of which is 606 hectares.
In Zakarpattia Oblast, we are talking about three sites (239 hectares), in Lviv – about one with an area of 174 hectares. Three more sites with a total area of 60 hectares were discovered in the Kyiv region. Criminal proceedings have been opened in most of these cases, the message states.
