Russia implements military programmes for children in the occupied territories: National Resistance Centre

In Melitopol, the occupation authorities began implementing the Kremlin’s program on the militarization of Ukrainian children called “Serving the Fatherland”. About this informs Center of national resistance.
According to information from the Central Security Service, fighters of the Russian army take an active part in the implementation of this program. In particular, the head of the regional terrorist association “SVO” Oleksandr Ostapenko, together with local collaborators, is creating specialized military classes-barracks for high school students on the basis of local schools.
In addition, the Russians plan to double the number of students undergoing military training by the end of 2024. According to the Center, this will take place primarily on the basis of the Nakhimov school in Mariupol.
“The Russian occupiers are trying to turn our children into a future mobilization reserve for their army. Using such programs, the Kremlin seeks to raise a new generation loyal to the occupiers and ready to participate in wars for the interests of Russia.”, – the central nervous system emphasizes.
The Center calls for opposition to this criminal policy of assimilation of Ukrainian children.
We would like to remind that from January 1, 2025, citizens who live in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and do not have a Russian passport will receive the status of foreign citizens or stateless persons.
