The state will invest UAH 9 billion in roads to Bukovel
The state plans to spend at least 9 billion UAH to improve transport links with the Bukovel resort,media reports
The Service for the Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region signed with PBS LLC two contracts for major road repairs worth UAH 2.46 billion. For UAH 2.18 billion, 22.8 km of the T-09-06 Ivano-Frankivsk-Nadvirna highway between Pasichna and Bystrytsia will be renovated. Another UAH 278 million has been allocated for the repair of the N-09 Mukachevo-Lviv highway in the Mykulychyn district.
“At the same time, they plan to spend the money now, without waiting for the end of the war. In December, they will spend UAH 146 million under the largest tender, next year a billion, and in 2027 another billion,” – journalists report.
The Service recently announced a new tender for the design of a 28.6 km completely new route from Bystrica to Yablunytsia via Polyanytsia, where Bukovel is located. The cost of the project is about UAH 6.57 billion.
“In total, the state is ready to allocate at least UAH 9 billion for road works leading to the zone of private resorts,” – the publication notes.
