The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that next week, Ukraine will present a detailed Plan for victory in the war to its allies. This is the president stated in his evening address to the citizens.
According to Zelenskyi, numerous meetings in various formats devoted to the preparation of this plan were held throughout the day. The participants of the meetings discussed each aspect in detail and developed the actual content of all points of the document.
“Military content, political, diplomatic, economic. Key persons are involved in every direction. And the necessary steps for Ukraine have already been determined, absolutely clearly. What can give us the strongest possible position to approach peace – a real, just peace. For each step there is and a clear list of points, what exactly is necessary, what exactly will work for strengthening, there is no impossible thing,” said Zelenskyi.
Zelenskyi also said that more than 90% of all the details of the plan have already been worked out, and this complex package of measures is able to ensure the correct development of the situation not only for Ukraine, but also for the whole world, which supports international law. The president confirmed that next week this plan will be presented to international partners for further coordination of actions.
Details of Ukraine’s Victory Plan
On September 16, Serhiy Leshchenko, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, spoke about one of the key components of the Victory Plan – the possibility of launching missile strikes on strategic objects on the territory of Russia. This includes strikes on Russian airfields, military bases and warehouses.
According to Leshchenko, this aspect of Ukrainian strategy is attracting attention in the White House, and Volodymyr Zelenskyi is expected to meet with US President Joe Biden during the UN General Assembly to discuss further steps.
