The Ukrainian manufacturer of radios Himera Radios for the first time executed a state contract for a NATO country
Ukrainian manufacturer of secure communication systems Himera Radios fulfilled the first state order for the Ministry of Defense of a European NATO member state. This was reported by the company’s press service.
Himera Radios said that the country for which the order was fulfilled chose to remain unnamed for now. Within the framework of the contract, the Ukrainian company also conducted trainings for local military and communications units.
According to Himera Radios, their systems have been highly appreciated by partners due to their low radio visibility, resistance to electronic warfare, ease of use, long battery life and adaptability to modern combat conditions.
“This is an important step in strengthening international partnership and developing secure communications systems on the battlefield. These results are a confirmation of HIMERA’s technological competitiveness and trust from partners, the message says.
As a reminder, in August Himera Radios announced the release of update 2.0 for its tactical radios. The developers claim that their devices are now capable of providing communication at the battalion-brigade level, which is key to coordinating actions on the battlefield. In July, the Himera G1 PRO model underwent explosive tests at a military training ground: the radio was detonated in various configurations with charges ranging from 200 grams to 1 kg of C-4.
