The US Department of Commerce has published a list of companies that help Russia circumvent sanctions
The US Department of Commerce has published a list of companies that help Russia circumvent sanctions. They are expected to impose a virtually total ban on exports to the United States this week.
The new export restrictions will affect 23 companies from China, three Turkish companies, two companies from the UAE, as well as one company each from India, Singapore and Taiwan. The department explained that these structures supplied products for Russia’s military-industrial complex and carried out exports to the USA without the necessary permits.
“The US government has identified these organizations as acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States”, – it is stated in the message of the American Department of Commerce.
Recall that on September 12, US President Donald Trump once again announced the possibility of new sanctions against Russia, stressing that his patience with Vladimir Putin is “quickly running out”.
“It will hit the banks very hard, and it will also be related to oil and tariffs”, explained Trump, answering a question about what kind of restrictions could be introduced against the Russian Federation.
