The Verkhovna Rada extended the period of voluntary return from the SZCH
On January 9, the Verkhovna Rada supported the extension of the deadline for the voluntary return from the voluntary abandonment of a part (SZCH) until March 1, 2025. About this reported People’s Deputy Solomiya Bobrovska.
“The Verkhovna Rada has just extended the right to “quick return” and, in fact, without consequences for those who have made the SZH to military units for service already from January 1 to March 1, 2025. The commander will continue to have 3 days to restore him to service, as it and it was the previous 2 months. But to all those who think that there will be another extension of the validity of the draft law, it will not happen. As most likely, criminalization will return for the implementation of the first SZH”, — says Bobrovska’s message.
Earlier, the deputy head of the Office of the President, Iryna Vereshchuk, reported that the extension of this term was discussed at a departmental meeting. She explained that it is possible to more actively involve recruiters from successful combat units for the work of returning soldiers.
“If someone manages to successfully return a soldier to the ranks, then people should be allowed to work and supported in every possible way. By the way, do not allow a situation where the unit agreed to take a person to their home after the SZH, and they send them to another unit.” – said Vereshchuk.
