The Verkhovna Rada plans to allow students of foreign universities to leave Ukraine freely

People’s deputies are working on creating a draft law that will allow students studying at foreign universities to freely leave the territory of Ukraine. About this reported Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights Ruslan Horbenko.

“We are preparing a draft law that will enable young people studying abroad to freely enter and leave Ukraine.” he noted.

These are citizens aged 18 to 24 who are full-time students in foreign educational institutions.

“We must give this category of citizens the right to freely leave and return to Ukraine to update documents, visas or military registration data. This is also necessary to preserve the ties of young people with their homeland and relatives living in Ukraine.” – emphasized the people’s deputy.

It will be recalled that earlier the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decision that allows male students aged 18 to 22 to go abroad to study for one semester as part of educational academic mobility.
