The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, summed up the negotiations of the Ukrainian delegation in the United States, reporting on agreements on further cooperation with partners. He wrote this on social networks after the completion of the next round of meetings that took place on December 19 with the participation of the American and European parties.
According to Rustem Umerov, he has already informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the first results of the negotiations. During the consultations, the parties agreed on further steps and confirmed their intention to continue joint work in the near future.
“We have agreed with our American partners on further steps and continuation of joint work in the near future“, – the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted.
Earlier, Rustem Umerov informed about the beginning of a new stage of negotiations in the USA. The Ukrainian negotiating delegation included, in particular, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov. Before the meetings with the American side, Ukrainian representatives held consultations with European partners.
