Transport passage has been restored on the Polish-Ukrainian border

Today, the passage of transport on the border of Ukraine and Poland through the point “Yagodin – Dorogusk” has been fully restored. The checkpoint operates as usual, reported State Customs Service of Ukraine.
Customs officers note that vehicles are now allowed to pass in both directions. According to the information of the Polish side, the electronic system of customs clearance, which had previously failed, was restored in the morning.
The day before, due to technical problems on the Polish side, the passage of trucks through the “Dorogusk-Yagodin” point was temporarily suspended. In addition, there were disruptions at checkpoints on the border of Ukraine with Moldova and Romania on Friday, which were also caused by technical malfunctions.
Previously, Polish farmers organized a strike on the border with Ukraine, protesting against the excessive import of Ukrainian agricultural products. During the campaign, the movement of trucks was restricted through several checkpoints, which created long queues and difficulties for carriers.
