US President Donald Trump announced the start of a large-scale military operation in Iran. According to him, the actions of American forces are aimed at eliminating threats that, in Washington’s opinion, come from the Iranian leadership.
“Recently, the American military launched a large-scale military operation in Iran. Our goal is to protect the American people by eliminating the immediate threat from the Iranian regime,” Trump stressed.
He also stated that the United States intends to destroy Iran’s missiles, completely destroy the country’s missile industry, and eliminate its navy. In addition, the US President appealed to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to lay down its arms.
“We are calling on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to lay down its arms. They will be treated fairly and given full immunity, or they will face inevitable death,” he said.
