Ukraine has updated the procedure for submitting applications for rent compensation for military personnel

In Ukraine, the procedure for submitting applications for rent compensation for servicemen, veterans, policemen and employees of the State Emergency Service has been updated. From now on, you can apply for such assistance at any Center for the provision of administrative services (TsNAP) or online – regardless of the place of registration or actual residence. About this reported representative of the Cabinet of Ministers Taras Melnychuk during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

Compensation is provided for persons who have lost their homes due to the war, live in temporarily occupied territories, undergo rehabilitation far from home, or perform service in regions far from their permanent residence.

The government made changes to the Procedure for paying monetary compensation to persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. This will allow you to submit documents through TsNAPy — by place of registration, declared or actual residence. The updated algorithm envisages that administrators of TsNAPs will submit applications together with documents to the local self-government body that takes care of veteran policy issues. The results of the examination of the application and the corresponding decision will then be transmitted back to the Central Administrative Court.

For persons who took part in measures to ensure the defense of Ukraine, but at the time of renting housing did not yet receive the status of a participant in hostilities or a person with a disability as a result of the war, it is provided for the submission of additional documents: a copy of the military registration document and an order on exclusion from the personnel lists of the relevant police body or civil defense service.
