Ukraine is on the agenda: the UN Security Council convenes a new meeting

The UN Security Council will convene a meeting tomorrow in response to the mass attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine, which took place the day before. About this reported Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsia on his Twitter page.

According to Kyslytsia, Ukraine together with partners among the members of the UN Security Council initiated this meeting to discuss the latest events in the context of Russian aggression and its consequences. The meeting is scheduled for August 28.

“The events of this Monday will be in the center of attention. All statements of Russian terrorists will become not only part of the official protocol of the meeting, but also important material for future tribunals on war criminals headed by the Kremlin Führer.”, the diplomat emphasized.

It will be recalled that on August 26, during a large-scale Russian attack, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 102 out of 127 missiles and 99 out of 109 drones launched by the enemy. As a result of the shelling, seven people died, 47 were injured.

Tonight, the Russian Federation struck Ukraine again. Ukrainian air defense destroyed five missiles and 60 “shaheeds”. As a result of the attack, four people were killed and 16 others were injured.
