Ukraine launches free online course for doctors on modern approaches to vaccination and organization of immunoprophylaxis

Medical workers of Ukraine can take the online course “Effective immunoprophylaxis in communities: from strategy to practical implementation” for free, which aims to deepen knowledge about modern approaches to vaccination and the organization of immunoprophylaxis at the local level. This reports the press service of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The course program consists of six modules covering the role of immunization and public health in improving community well-being, diagnosis, strategy and operational management, partnership and advocacy with stakeholders, practical communications and working with the public, legal aspects and working with objections, and practical work with digital tools.

The start of the online course is scheduled for October 20, 2025, registration takes place through the appropriate form at the link. After successful completion of the course and testing, participants will receive 20 BPR points.

The course is designed for a wide range of professionals — from medical professionals to non-medical specialists — and is designed to provide practical knowledge to increase vaccination coverage and create a sustainable vaccination culture at the community level.

The training course was created within the framework of the project “Vaccination – a common cause”, which is implemented by the “Coalition for Vaccination” GS together with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and regional centers for disease control and prevention with the support of the World Health Organization.
