Ukraine took fifth place in the UN digital ranking: Fedorov

Over the past five years, Ukraine has made a huge leap in the field of digital services, rising from 102nd to 5th place in the UN’s online services index. About this told Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

“For five years, in the digital ranking of the UN Online Service Index, which measures the progress of digital states, we rose from 102nd place to 5th place. In certain categories, for example, “open data”, we are the third in Europe, in terms of the involvement of citizens in the use of digital technologies – in general, the first in the world”, – emphasized Fedorov.

In 2025, the Ministry of Digital Transformation will continue to develop the digital infrastructure and accelerate the digitization of state bodies. One of the key projects will be the creation of a voice assistant through which citizens will be able to leave feedback about their interactions with state services.

Built on the basis of artificial intelligence, this tool will be able to analyze and categorize problems according to specific departmental policies. Responsible officials will receive push notifications via the Diya.Office platform and will promptly respond to citizens’ complaints or suggestions.

“It would be ideal then to make a rating of these state bodies based on such feedback from citizens”, – added the minister.
