Ukrainian DELTA became the main management system for the joint team at NATO exercises

For the second time in a row, Ukraine took part in the NATO REPMUS 2025 exercises — a large-scale international event to practice the use of unmanned systems in maritime operations. On the Troy Peninsula in Portugal, the naval forces of 24 countries tested the latest defense technologies for three weeks. Ukraine joined the “red” team and secured its management through its own DELTA system.

With the help of the Ukrainian DELTA combat system, more than 100 unmanned platforms of various types – sea, underwater, land and air – were coordinated. In addition to the coordination of drones, the integration of the latest STANAG standard was confirmed, which certifies compatibility with NATO and paves the way for the standardization of Ukrainian solutions. Video streams from all drones of the “red team” also passed through DELTA (Vezha module).

“REPMUS 2025 confirmed: Ukrainian technologies not only meet NATO standards, but also shape new approaches to warfare. DELTA has confirmed compatibility with the latest Alliance standards and in practice has ensured the coordination of hundreds of unmanned systems of various types. This is proof of the flexibility of our decisions and the ability to quickly adapt to any combat operations at sea, on land or in the air,” noted Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

The Ukrainian team consisted of military personnel of various types and branches, but the key role was played by the Naval Forces of Ukraine, which ensured coordination and effective work in complex multinational scenarios. During the exercises, Ukrainian servicemen shared their combat experience with partners, and REPMUS 2025 confirmed Ukraine’s status as a partner that influences the development of joint technologies in the field of security.
