Ukrainian farmers can receive state financial support in the amount of up to 7000 hryvnias
In 2025, Ukrainian farmers engaged in animal husbandry can get state financial support in the amount of up to 7,000 hryvnias. The program is aimed at helping small and medium-sized farms that need additional resources for effective business operations.
Financial support will be available only to those animal owners who did not receive similar payments in 2024. Subsidies are intended for owners of livestock, in particular cows, goats and sheep. The amount of payments is determined by the number and type of animals:
- 7,000 hryvnias for each cow for farmers keeping from 3 to 100 cows;
- 2,000 hryvnias for each goat or sheep for owners of a herd of 5 to 500 heads.
Application for financial assistance is made through the official online platform “State Agrarian Register” (DAR). Payments are transferred without cash directly to the recipient’s bank account. To receive a grant, you must meet the following requirements:
- keep the necessary number of livestock (from 3 to 100 cows or from 5 to 500 goats or sheep);
- not receive similar financial assistance in 2024;
- be registered with DAR and apply through this platform;
- provide documentary evidence of the presence of animals and compliance with the terms of the program.
Financial support can be received by farmers from all regions of Ukraine, with the exception of temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities. The program is designed to promote the development of animal husbandry in Ukraine and ensure the stability of the agricultural sector.
