Ukrainian intelligence reports on the destruction of Tu-134 on the territory of the Russian Federation (video)

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported the destruction of a Tu-134 military transport aircraft at the Russian military airfield Orenburg-2 on the night of 12-13 October.

This information was published on the intelligence agency’s Telegram channel.

“We burned the enemy carcass – a Tu-134 military transport aircraft was destroyed in Russia. On the night of 12-13 October 2024, a Tu-134 aircraft belonging to the 117th Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the armed forces of the aggressor state burned down in Russia.”

The enemy Tu-134 aircraft was at the Russian Orenburg-2 airfield, where a large-scale fire broke out.

According to the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, it is specified for what purposes the enemy used this Tu-134:

‘Such Soviet-built aircraft are used, in particular, to transport the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defence’.
