Ukrainian power engineers are introducing new methods to improve the efficiency of the energy system
Ukraine is forced to adapt approaches to the development of the energy system due to Russia’s constant attacks on critical infrastructure facilities. In order to ensure the stable operation of the energy industry, extraordinary technical decisions have to be made. About this reported Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko.
Speaking at the German-Ukrainian business forum in Berlin, the minister told international partners about the difficulties caused by continuous attacks on the energy infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of quick and effective actions that allow the country to maintain access to electricity.
“We are changing approaches to energy to survive daily and massive infrastructure attacks”, – said the official.
New approaches include the development of distributed generation, the installation of equipment such as gas turbines, gas piston units and generators operating under critical conditions throughout the country.
Herman Galushchenko emphasized that these challenges are not only a task for Ukraine, but also a test for Western manufacturers of equipment that is tested in extreme conditions.
