During the day, 157 combat clashes were recorded at the front. Ukrainian units stopped 26 enemy attacks in the Novopavlovsk direction, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy carried out 38 airstrikes, using 71 guided air bombs. Also, 1,440 kamikaze drones were used and 2,991 shelling of Ukrainian military positions and populated areas was carried out.
On the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, Ukrainian units repelled nine assaults. The enemy carried out 6 airstrikes, dropping 17 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 192 attacks, including nine from rocket salvo systems. In the Yuzhno-Slobozhansk direction, three enemy attacks were recorded in the areas of Vovchansk and Dovgenky. In the Kupyansk region, an assault is underway in the direction of Kurylivka.
On the Lymanskyi direction, since the beginning of the day, 18 attacks have been recorded on defenders’ positions near Novomykhailivka, Grekivka, Shandrygolovoy, Zarichny, Kolodyazyu, Torskyi, as well as in the direction of Druzhelyubivka and Stavki. Four battles are still going on.
On the Siverskyi direction, the occupiers tried five times to break through the defenses in the direction of Dronivka and Pereizny. There were four clashes in the Kramatorsk direction — the enemy tried to advance near Stupochky and Aleksandro-Shultyny. In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 11 times, concentrating their efforts in the areas of Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Bika, Shcherbinivka, Katerynivka, Yablunivka, and Poltavka.
On the Pokrovsky direction, 56 defense breakthrough attempts were recorded near Volodymyrivka, Rodynskyi, Nikanorivka, Novoeconomichny, Lysivka, Mykolaivka, Sukhetsky, Promeny, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Kotlyny, Udachny, Molodetsky, Horykhovy, Dachny, and Filia. Battles continue at seven points.
The defense forces inflicted significant losses on the enemy: 149 occupiers were eliminated, 99 of them irreversibly. 7 cars and 21 drones were destroyed. Another car, two artillery systems and the control point of the UAV were damaged. On the Novopavlivskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 26 attacks near Ivanivka, Yalta, Myrny, Sichnevy, Tolstoy, Voskresenka, Sosnivka, Novomykolaivka, and Novogrigorivka. Six more fights are ongoing.
On the Gulyaipil direction, the enemy attacked defenders’ positions near Poltavka three times and launched an airstrike on Zaliznychny. In the Orihiv direction, three attempts to advance were recorded in the Novoandriivka and Kamiansky areas. In the Dnieper direction, enemy aircraft struck Kozatskyi and Kherson, but no offensive operations were carried out.
