The Ukrainian government has expanded the opportunities for war veterans and military personnel to receive free means of rehabilitation and compensation for self-purchased means. This initiative aims to support those who have defended the country and provide for their health needs.
Veterans and military personnel who have medical indications, can receive prosthetic and orthopedic products, special self-care products, mobility aids and other necessary items free of charge or with cost compensation.
In order to receive assistance, it is necessary to pass a medical commission (MSEK, LKK or VLK), get an individual rehabilitation program and submit an application to the social protection authorities, TsNAP or through the electronic cabinet.
It is noted that this move by the government is an important step in supporting veterans and servicemen who return from war and need help in restoring their physical and psychological health.
