Ukrainian winemakers will be able to receive grants thanks to the “eRobota” program
As part of the "eRobota" program, the Cabinet of Ministers launched grants for the creation of new gardens and greenhouses.

The Cabinet of Ministers expanded the eRobota program for farmers, including new directions, such as the creation of new gardens and greenhouses, as well as support for winemakers. About this reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the government meeting on August 2. Thanks to these changes, more Ukrainian winemakers will be able to take advantage of grants.
The government decided to expand the eRobota program to new regions for cherry, peach and apricot planting. In addition, winemakers are given the opportunity to receive grants for planting their own vineyards. Shmyhal noted that the government has decided to remove the condition of mandatory installation of an irrigation system when planting vineyards, which will simplify the process of obtaining grants.
The eRobota project is part of the “Made in Ukraine” government policy and includes grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity and job creation.
As part of the eRobota program, the government has already launched grants for the creation of new gardens and greenhouses, paying out almost UAH 1 billion of such grants. With these funds, 2,700 hectares of new gardens were planted and 70 hectares of new greenhouses were built, Shmyhal said.
Soft loans are another important support mechanism for farmers. This year, under the “5-7-9% Affordable Loans” program, UAH 26.5 billion in loans were granted to more than 5,600 farmers, which contributes to the development of the agricultural sector and the economy as a whole.
New opportunities for winemakers
Thanks to the expansion of the “eRobota” program, Ukrainian winemakers received new opportunities for the development of their business. The received grants will help them plant vineyards without additional conditions regarding irrigation systems, which will facilitate the process and reduce costs. This will increase grape production and improve the quality of Ukrainian wines, which will positively affect competitiveness on the international market.
