Olena Kondratyuk noted that the total amount of financial and humanitarian support provided by Japan to Ukraine exceeded $15 billion.
She also emphasized that Japan is not limited to assistance, but as a G7 state applies sanctions pressure on Russia and supports the process of holding the aggressor country accountable, in particular through the mechanism of the Special International Tribunal.
During a meeting with the Ukrainian side, Japanese Ambassador Masashi Nakagome stated that the vast majority of key political forces in the country support Ukraine. He assured that Japan will continue to provide financial and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
