A paper criminal record statement can now be ordered online through the “Action” or in the “Single window for citizens” on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and get it at the office of Ukrposhta, by courier delivery or directly at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
“Until yesterday, this service had to be received only in person (or through a legal representative) – physically in the office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kyiv. Today, a few clicks are enough – and an extract about the presence or absence of a criminal record, including an apostille, is already being prepared for you, the Minister of Internal Affairs noted.
He explained the procedure for obtaining a paper extract: you need to log in to the “Single window for citizens” or in the “Action” application, fill out the electronic form, select the “paper statement” option; and determine a convenient method of receipt — at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the nearest branch of “Ukrposhta” or courier delivery. According to Klymenko, in the “Single window for citizens” on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, you can order an extract with or without an apostille.
“ Term of extract production – up to 30 days if an apostille is required – it’s still up to 5 days of waiting. The entire process can be monitored online, added the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He emphasized that this service is one of the most popular in the ministry:
“This year alone, Ukrainians have already ordered more than 44,000 paper extracts, of which more than 33,500 – with apostille”.
