National communications operator JSC “Ukrposhta” presented the beta version of its mobile application, in which detailed tracking of parcels, automatic display of shipments and a list of created shipments are available. This was reported by the general director of the company Igor Smilyansky.
“We planned to launch the application in three stages – as most companies in the world do. Starting today, the beta version with the most anticipated features is available. This is Ukrposhta’s own development, without the involvement of third-party companies, said Ihor Smilyanskyi.
The application provides push notifications, information about the arrival of parcels, change of delivery status, receipt reminders, new promotions and promotional codes. In addition, users can view the price and delivery times. The application also has a function of universal search for shipments and an interactive map of branches. Please note that online payment is currently only available at the shipment creation stage.
Smilyansky clarified that at the second stage, it will be possible to manage the parcel, in particular, to redirect it and change the recipient, which will be free of charge until it arrives at the branch.
“Paying for a package that is headed to you. After that “Ukrposhta” will cancel all paper applications in branches. Everything will be online — or through the call center, added the general director.
According to him, at the third stage, users will be able to accept payments and order goods, brands, medicines and other services.
