“Ukrzaliznytsia” launched new routes to Europe with one transfer
Updated passenger train schedules with convenient transfers for trips to European countries have come into effect. This was reported by the press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
The new schedule increases the number of international routes from 11 to 17, which opens up additional opportunities for residents of Kharkiv, Poltava, Kyiv, and Lviv to travel to Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich. New routes to Western European countries have been opened for residents of Zaporizhia and Dnipro.
According to “Ukrzaliznytsia”, the new trains provide a comfortable transfer only once, which makes trips faster and more convenient.
New routes:
- train No. 63/64 “Oberyh” Kharkiv – Kyiv – Przemysl. In Przemysl, transfers to European trains to Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic are possible.
- train No. 93/94 Kharkiv – Kyiv – Kholm. Departure from Kharkov – 16:56, from Kyiv – 23:57, arrival in Kholm – 10:47.
- Train No. 31/32 Zaporizhzhia – Dnipro – Przemysl. Departure from Zaporizhzhia – 14:14, from Dnipro – 16:30, arrival in Przemysl – 08:30. Then transfer to train EC58 GALICJA, which departs at 09:09 and arrives in Berlin at 19:11.
- Train No. 119 Dnipro – Kyiv – Kholm. Departure from Dnipro – 22:55, from Kyiv – 07:51, arrival in Kholm – 17:52. Transfer to train IC 440 via Warsaw (arrival at 21:11), arrival in Berlin at 06:15.
As previously reported, the new schedule of “Ukrzaliznytsia” for 2025-2026 includes the launch of 11 trains – 8 international and 3 domestic, as well as improvements to existing routes. Among the new features – night train No. 7/346 – 347/8 Uzhgorod – Vienna as part of the sleeping cars of European railways.
In addition, the total offer in international connections via Chop station, including the Eurogauge hubs in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo, has been increased by more than 1,000 seats per day.
