The Swedish government announced the allocation of the largest package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of SEK 13.3 billion (EUR 1.16 billion).

About this informs Ministry of Defense of Sweden.

“Today, May 29, the Swedish government presents the 16th and so far the largest package of military aid to Ukraine. Sweden is helping Ukraine with completely new capabilities that strengthen Ukraine’s overall air defense. The package, which will be included in the upcoming supplementary budget with amendments, amounts to SEK 13.3 billion and meets the priority needs of Ukraine.”, – the message says

This 16th Support Pack includes:

Radar Reconnaissance and Control Aircraft (ASC 890) with a full package of services including training and technical equipment.
The entire Swedish stock of armored personnel carriers 302 (BTR 302) for the formation of new brigades of the Ukrainian army.
Rb 99 (AMRAAM) missiles, which can be used both on aircraft and in ground-based air defense systems.
Artillery ammunition.
Tanker trucks.
Maintenance of previously transferred Swedish equipment.
Financial support for capacity-building coalitions and funds for rapid procurement of equipment.
Terminals with a subscription to satellite communication.
In addition, Sweden will provide Ukraine with support in creating its own defense research institute.
