US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken arrived in Ukraine and began his visit by commemorating fallen soldiers at the cemetery.

“I welcomed Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Ukraine. The secretary became the first colleague to start his day in Kyiv by commemorating our fallen heroes at the Berkovets cemetery. This is a sign of respect for all Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom and right to life“, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted.
As notes Reuters agency, Blinken plans to meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during his visit. At the end of the meeting, the American official will deliver a speech “focused on the future of Ukraine.”
According to one of the unnamed officials, the purpose of the US Secretary of State’s visit to Kyiv is to talk about how American aid will be provided in such a way as to help strengthen Ukraine’s defenses and allow for seizing the initiative on the battlefield.
