Venislavsky explained the new rules for the recruitment of volunteers: without TCC through “Rezerv+” or independent search for a unit
Communication between volunteers and military units can take place both at the initiative of citizens and at the initiative of commanders.

Commanders of military units will be able to call for volunteers without the participation of territorial recruitment centers (TCC). This new mechanism was proposed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but its implementation requires approval by the Cabinet of Ministers. Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, in a comment for “Ukrainian Pravda” told about the details of this initiative.
“The TCC has its own mobilization plans and orders from the General Staff, so they cannot always go to meet volunteers who come with connections from specific military units. Currently, you can get into the selected unit only by concluding a contract, which is not always suitable for conscripts due to long terms of service”, – explained Venislavskyi.
The General Staff offers a mechanism that allows conscripts to communicate directly with commanders of military units. This means that commanders will be able to call up volunteers for service without the participation of the TCC.
“A person can independently find a unit, contact the commander, and he will decide whether to summon it. At the same time, the unit can initiate contact with a citizen using data from the “Reserve+” or “Oberig” systems, – said Venislavskyi.
The initiative of the General Staff needs to be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. The new mechanism will become operational only after the relevant decision is adopted.
