A separate chat with ChatGPT has appeared in the Viber messenger. The new feature has supplemented the existing artificial intelligence tools, including the AI guide, AI editor, AI coach and other services.
ChatGPT is displayed in the application as a separate chat in the “All” section above other messages, as well as as a separate tab next to chats and calls. There is currently no function to remove this chatbot from the messenger.
The Viber support page states that ChatGPT-based capabilities work through integration with OpenAI. Before first use, users are shown information with links to the terms of use and OpenAI privacy policy.
ChatGPT in Viber is available with basic daily limits for users who have not connected a ChatGPT account. Once you’ve reached your limit, the app will prompt you to log in to your existing account or sign up for a new one.
The integration also adds new tools, including instant chat translation and AI summaries for long messages. Viber says these features are designed to make messaging more convenient and faster.
