The Armed Forces of Ukraine will purchase military equipment worth 12 billion hryvnias through the DOT-Chain Defence platform
In the first quarter of 2026, the Ukrainian military will receive funding in the amount of 12 billion hryvnias to order the necessary equipment through the DOT-Chain Defence digital system. This was reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the funds are being sent directly to combat units so that they can independently purchase equipment in accordance with real needs on the front. “We are transferring funding to combat brigades to purchase what they really need. In the first quarter of 2026, the military will receive 12 billion hryvnias for ordering equipment through DOT-Chain Defence,” the minister noted.
As of today, 186 combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as units of the Azov and Charter corps, already have access to the platform.
Using this specialized marketplace, unmanned aerial vehicles and electronic warfare equipment worth a total of 7.687 billion hryvnias have already been delivered to the front lines. In total, the military received 175.4 thousand units of equipment.
The Minister of Defense also reported that more than 100 Ukrainian manufacturers have been connected to the system. The process of selecting and ordering the necessary equipment is as simple as possible and requires only a few clicks.
“We continue to expand the list of manufacturers and available positions on the marketplace. Our goal is to provide each brigade with the opportunity to independently choose and promptly receive everything necessary to perform combat missions,” — summed up Denys Shmyhal.
