Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned about Russia preparing strikes on railways and water supply systems

According to intelligence, Russia is preparing new attacks on Ukrainian logistics, including rail infrastructure and water supply systems. In addition, continued strikes on energy facilities are expected. This was reported by Volodymyr Zelensky.

He noted that Russian troops intend to strike at Ukrainian infrastructure facilities, including bridges, dams, hydroelectric power plants, as well as pumping stations and drinking water supply systems.

As Zelensky reported, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is already working on strengthening air defense, in particular on the appropriate integration of systems. The President also emphasized that “all regional authorities and communities should be involved in appropriate preparation,” and added that “maximum protection is needed.”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that Russia was preparing an operation against water supply systems in Ukraine in the next few months. Then, in particular, he emphasized that “every community should have a serious attitude, an absolutely responsible attitude, towards the protection of the relevant facilities.”
