President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi spent a working meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky regarding the operational situation at the front.
Among the key topics is the defense of Pokrovsky and other areas of Donetsk region, where the enemy has concentrated significant forces.

I would like to single out our soldiers of the Special Operations Forces and the 59th Assault Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces for their battles in the Pokrovsk Region. Every Russian attempt to break through must be met with an appropriate fire response by Ukrainian forces. In particular, we are destroying Russian sabotage groups that are trying to advance and enter Ukrainian cities and villages. No such Russian DRG will have a chance to survive.”, — emphasized Zelensky.
He noted that Syrskyi together with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal already discussed the necessary forces and means for more effective destruction of the invaders and the strengthening of Ukrainian long-range strikes.
“We will provide as much as possible. The situation in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions remains difficult. The Russian army continues to abuse our people in Kherson region and Mykolaiv region, attacking civilians with various types of drones. We will respond to them tangibly. Thank you to everyone who provides Ukraine with the necessary combat results!” – added the president.
