Zelenskyi visited the destroyed printing house in Kharkiv (video)
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, visited the printing complex “Faktor-Druk” in Kharkiv, which was destroyed by Russian missiles, and met with the company’s management. During the visit, the head of state was informed about the consequences of the rocket attack on May 23, as a result of which seven workers died and 21 were injured.
About this informs Office of the President of Ukraine.
The President expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims and promised state support in restoring the production facilities of the printing house. The founder and president of the Factor group of companies, Serhii Polituchy, emphasized the importance of resuming production, as Factor-Druk was one of the largest producers of printing products in Ukraine, including school textbooks.
Serhii Polituchy, founder and president of the Factor group of companies, reported a serious crisis in the publishing industry of Ukraine. Despite the fact that Kharkiv has traditionally been the main center of printing production, now the city is facing an acute shortage of capacity.
As a result, the publishing house is not able to print books on time, especially educational literature, which creates significant problems for the educational process. The loss of one of the key printing houses, which ensured the printing of about a third of all books in Ukraine, including 40% of school textbooks, is particularly noticeable.
