Law enforcement officers have sent a new case to court against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenko

Law enforcement agencies have filed another case against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) Pavlo Kyrylenko and his wife. According to anti-corruption agencies, the official failed to declare 20 real estate properties and a car in 2024. This was reported by the press service of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.

The agency’s statement does not name the official, but according to Suspilne, it refers to the current chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission Pavlo Kyrylenko.

Investigators note that in the electronic declaration for 2024, the official did not indicate information about 20 real estate properties and a luxury car that were registered to his wife’s relatives. According to the NABU and SAPO, these assets were acquired illegally, which is being investigated within the framework of a separate criminal proceeding.

These include six apartments in Kyiv and Uzhgorod, a residential building near Kyiv with an area of over 220 square meters, two land plots, two garages, six parking spaces, three non-residential premises with a total area of over 190 square meters, as well as a BMW X3 car.

In July of this year, Pavlo Kyrylenko already appeared in court in a case of illegal enrichment and submitting false data in declarations for 2020–2023. Then he was charged with two suspicions, and his wife with one. All of them are dated March 25, 2024.

On August 28, the court chose a preventive measure for Kyrylenko in the form of a bail of 30 million hryvnias and set a restriction for a period of two months. The head of the AMCU himself then stated that he continued to perform his official duties, since he had not been removed from office. Already on August 29, he paid the specified bail.

On July 23, 2025, NABU and SAPO announced the completion of the investigation into the case of illicit enrichment and submission of false information, as well as in the case of his wife’s aiding and abetting these actions.

Pavlo Kyrylenko headed the Donetsk Regional Military Administration for more than four years – since the summer of 2019. Before that, he worked as a military prosecutor of the Uzhhorod garrison of the Western region. Originally from the Donetsk region, he said in an interview that he was last in Donetsk in June 2014, and part of his family is still in the occupied territory.
