President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a meeting of the Chiefs of General Staffs of partner countries will be held on January 5, dedicated to security guarantees for Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, political preparations are almost complete, and now it is important to clarify how the guarantees will work in the sky, on the ground and at sea in the event of the end of the war.
“And this is the key goal for all normal people”, the president added.
The president recalled that the first meeting of national security advisers is scheduled for January 3 in Kyiv on peace. European representatives will participate in it, and the US team will join online.
“15 countries have confirmed, plus representatives of European structures and NATO”, Zelenskyy specified.
In addition, a meeting of the leaders of the “coalition of the determined” will be held in France on January 6.
“We are preparing now so that the meeting is productive, and so that there is more support, and so that there is more political confidence in the guarantees and the peace agreement”, the president emphasized.
