Zelenskyy appointed Ihor Brusyl as Ukraine’s ambassador to Italy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree appointing Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Brusyl as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Italy. The corresponding document was published on the website of the head of state. By another decree, the President dismissed Brusyl from the post of Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
Previously, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Italy was Yaroslav Melnyk, who held this position from September 2020 to July 21, 2025. After completing his term in Rome, he was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium.
Ihor Brusylo has worked as Deputy Head of the Presidential Office since March 2021.
