The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, held another technological workshop dedicated to the development and application of unmanned systems in military conditions. About the results of the meeting he told in his video message.
The main attention was paid to Ukrainian drones, their range of strikes, effectiveness of attacks and improvement of technologies. The military, government representatives and arms manufacturers took part in the discussion.
One of the main issues was overcoming the Russian electronic warfare (EW) and air defense systems. The President emphasized the need to increase the production of drones, which requires new contracts, financing and support from international partners.
“Our Ukrainian production of drones and the constant modernization of drones is one of the key parts of Russia’s deterrence system, which is needed to guarantee the security of Ukraine in the long term, and it will also be our international advantage – how we can export security after this war. Already now, there is a huge interest of our friends in the world in Ukrainian developments, in our capabilities, in our technological productions”, – Zelensky emphasized.
According to him, drones are an important element of deterring Russia and can become a significant advantage of Ukraine in the international arena. He noted that the development and modernization of drones will ensure the country’s long-term security and open up new opportunities for export.
